About the event

"We already contain that which we most deeply desire; Life, Love, inner freedom and connection to all." ~ Jack Kornfield

All that is needed for a lifetime of happiness and contentment is already present within us. But as we grow from birth to adulthood we disconnect from our inner selves, and instead learn through experience and circumstance how to 'survive' in the world we live. This learning teaches us to look outside of ourselves for happiness, we must work hard, we must 'achieve' things, we must be 'successful', and we must be 'good people'. But so often even when we do all these things right, there is something missing. As Jack Kornfield goes on to say "We can be in the midst of vast external riches and yet still feel like a hungry ghost'.

Because when we seek happinness outside the realms of ourselves, we reflect an inner lacking, a sense of limitation and insufficiency. It is our inner satisfaction that radiates a sense of effortlessness and value, that we have something to offer to ourselves and the world. It is our internal state that either feels free and valued or constrained and somehow not good enough...

So how then, do we begin to BE our own light?

We can choose to embark on a journey from the inside - out, and this weekend with Sara Goode, and Dani Sudlow, will illuminate the stepping stones you need to free the parts of yourself that scream out to you for change. Fear and sadness, grief and hopelessness, internal conditioning. Let them walk you throught the key elements we all need to transform our suffering. Turn our fears into fuel, step into courage, begin to accept parts of our selves we couldn't face, and to ultimately return to love for ourselves and the world around us.

If you want to be able to greet each day with arms wide open, enthusiastic to whatever it may bring. If you want to feel strong, and safe in your foundation, allowing the challenges of life to pass through you, without falling into depressive thoughts and downward spirals. If you want to feel joy and happiness, have loving relationships with with others, and the wider world.

Then we will help guide you beyond the turmoil of the waves crashing on the shore, to the calm and tranquility of the deeper ocean.

We will be exploring the key elements of;

Fear - how to move through it and use it as a guide to fuel your future, not hold you back in the past.

Courage - how to open up to courage, the tipping point of consciousness. Entering the true arena of life, where you begin to interact with the universe

Acceptance - learning lessons from our experiences, and letting go of that which has no meaning for us

Love - not the fluffy pink, romanticised kind, but the powerful creationary force of life that runs through everything.

Through classroom sessions, and integrated yoga, visualisation and meditation we will be looking inward, without judgement and with open hearted curiosity, looking at where we can develop our internal landscape, enabling us to flow of with life, rather than feel in conflict with it, and ourselves.

About Your Weekend Leaders

Sara Goode

A life changing event in 2015, prompted Sara to drastically change her life. Mastering the tools and techniques needed for the process of internal healing; physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. She moved from being in constant emotional and mental conflict, resulting in poor physical health, to discovering the inner peace and calm that has transformed her life and wellness. Wanting to help others find their own sovereignty, she trained as a Strategic Intervention Coach with Tony Robbins and Chloe Madanes, is a certified NLP and Reiki practitioner, and uses her personal spiritual experience to help guide others on their path to self-development, emotional healing, and deep, lasting, life changes. Sara has worked with individuals and groups in the UK, USA, and Japan, and has spoken Internationally about her story and the process of deep transformational change. She is a founding committee member of the award winning Wrexham Critical Care Support Group, and a volunteer and now Vice Chair of the IHS, the charity that owns and manages Tan-y-Garth Hall Retreat.
