About the event
Autumn can teach us to let go and embrace the changes in our lives, but it can also be a struggle as we lose the light. Like the seasons our energy changes with the flow of nature, and learning to accept a slower pace and invite the darker seasons in can be empowering and change our mindsets during what can be a difficult season for our mental health.

As the Wheel of the Year takes us into the darker season, we learn how to lean into it, rather than resist it and find out inner glow. Take time to join theraputic yoga practices to embody your feelings and emotions and meet you where you are. We allow Nature to be our guide and take lessons from her wisdom to let go. Daily Nature therapy sessions will give you opportunity to embrace the air element, which dominates this season and you'll learn how to work with it and use it to your best.
We'll be journaling throughout to allow us to listen to our intuition, get crafty to activate our sensations and creation and invite ritual practice for empowerment, and refection.
You will have plenty of time to be held in this beautiful spiritual place of Tan Y Garth Hall Retreat. Rest and enjoy the written word beside the fire, or take time wondering the gardens and breathing in the stunning views of the valley.
Feel enlightened, supported and wholesome.
ABOUT THE RETREAT LEADER
Kirsty is a Registered Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist (RYT500+) with Yoga Alliance. Kirsty started her journey into Yoga in 2010 to help her mental health and find balance and for the stillness, the calm, the breath (pranayama) and the wellness, something that is hard to achieve in this climate. This soon fuelled a drive to explore and play with the movements, challenge herself and gain that breath to body connection.
Realising Yoga was more than just a physical practice, Kirsty integrated Yoga into her everyday life, off the mat as well as on the mat and soon realised that Yoga is a continuous journey of self enquiry that she feels everyone should have the opportunity to explore.
With a daily Yoga practice and connection to Nature, Kirsty has found both these elements hugely beneficial to daily life and mental health. Now she shares this with others, providing opportunity not only to explore the healing benefits of Yoga, but to do this with the support of the nature as therapy, bringing people back to their roots, their connection and creating a sustainable self care practice to stay attuned and grounded for improved wellbeing.
