During this weekend we will explore the Qigong of The Five Celestial Creatures: Human, Tiger, Turtle, Dragon and Phoenix. These are five different dynamic breathing and movement exercises, representing the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), to stimulate your inner energy in a creative cycle. There will also be Tai Chi Walking and some partner practice.

Over the weekend we will complete a Qigong sequence of movement and breathing.

Suitable for all levels - from beginner to experienced practitioner.

Please bring loose comfortable clothing suitable for doing gentle movements and footwear for both indoors and out.

ABOUT THE RETREAT LEADER

James is a full-time teacher of both Tai Chi & Qigong. He studied Tai Chi from the early 1980s with Bronwyn Hipkin in Cambridge and later with Dee Swift and John Bolwell of Lakes Tai Chi.  He has taught since 1993 and is a certified instructor member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain. He is an instructor member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain and is celebrating 30 years of teaching this year..

Residential participant - £350 (includes meals and refreshments plus 2 nights accommodation in a shared room)

IHS Members £335 with discount.

N.B. We have one residential space available for your own camper van at  £40 off the above prices ( includes, tuition, all meals and use of bathrooms).

Non-Residential participant £280 (includes meals and refreshments only)

IHS Members £265 with discount.

Residential costs assume 2 people sharing a room.
