There are many pathways to what is often referred to as spiritual healing or self healing. This weekend will consist of talks and practical sessions introducing participants to a range of them including :
- Silence and meditation in different traditions
- How to use yoga for healing
- Chakras and how to unblock them
- Chakra meditation
- Chakras with bija mantra
- Zen meditation
- Qigong breathing and tapping exercises
- Creative drawing
- Experimenting with light (guided Quaker mediation)
- and other healing techniques
As well as healing sessions the weekend will also include gentle yoga exercises and yoga nidra and will encourage mindful eating and silence as well as provide opportunities for questions and answers. During this weekend participants will work as a whole group but will also have the opportunity for private one-to-one sessions with one or the other of the retreat leaders. These can be booked during the week immediately before the retreat.
