About the event
Summer is a time of vitality and the solstice is an ideal time to connect with your inner fire with inspiring Yoga and simple Qigong techniques, connecting to nature and the elements in an idyllic rural retreat setting.
Practice kundalini breathwork and meditations to ignite our inner fire, yogic techniques to burn away our inner obstacles to experiencing vibrant health and well-being and sound healing.

There will be blissful sound baths to fully integrate the powerful energies available around the Solstice and group singing of mantras ( Kirtan ) to live music celebrating life and our innate divine nature with special quests Anand Kirtan. They will open your heart reaching deeply into the core of your soul, touching the strings of your unique voice and bringing it back into the world.
ABOUT THE RETREAT LEADER
Tom Shanti will guide you into the sacred world of sounds, vibrations and self healing. He is an experienced Sound Healer, Qi Gong and Yoga instructor. He has studied various forms of tradition music from around the world including under Tibetan music masters.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Your will need to bring : -
- loose clothing suitable for doing gentle stretching exercise and posture work
- yoga matt or blanket to lie on and a cushion
- indoor shoes
- outdoor clothing and footwear
- notebook or pen and paper

N.B. We have one residential space for a camper van which is available for £40 off the above prices and includes the pitch, all meals and use of bathrooms.

Residential costs assume 2 people sharing a room.
However, a few rooms can be made available for single occupancy, for which a single room supplement of £35 per night is charged (i.e. £70 for the weekend). To secure your place you will need to pay with a debit or credit card when booking (operated by PayPal but you do NOT need a Paypal account for this). Â Subject to status, Paypal may also give you the option to pay in 3 interest free instalments.
N.B. This is a Wellbeing Event facilitated by our professionally qualified partners, who share the values and practices of the International Hermeneutic Society, the charity that owns and runs the Hall. These partners are paid via a profit share with Tan-y-Garth Hall, and whilst they are more than an IHS volunteer event, they still fall below most equivalent commercial retreat prices.
